If I could leave 0 starts I would. Alex the "owner" came after being assigned the job by AHS - tenants appreantly had a clogged drain line. He cleared the drainline but left the attached photo of mess and water on the floor at my tenants home. Instead of just easily asking for a bucket or a trash can, or some paper towels - just did it and left. When confronted it was I should be happy he cleared the clog - and didn't care that he left a mess.
My air conditioning unit needed to be replaced because the system was 20 years old. I was connected with NOVA LLC HVAC with Alex as the contractor manager. I see that the company has very low ratings and certainly understand the frustration of concerned homeowners. I am going to rate Alex and NOVA LLC HVAC a 4/5 and here is why... Absolutely horrible company! From reading the reviews, I see they pull the same deceptive business practices through American Home Shield. Alex came out to give me an estimate on my AC repairs and he prepared a report alleging $3400 in uncovered modifications. I sent several texts requesting the full breakdown of the estimate and while he agreed to send it, he instead sent an estimate for an $8k ac replacement. This place is a complete scam and untrustworthy. I wish I could give 0 stars
American Home Shield selected NoVA HVAC to repair our HVAC. A full 10 days went by before I could get a hold of anyone at the company. They apologized and scheduled me for the following day, and no one showed up again and they stopped answering their phones. I was finally able to get a new vendor through American Home Shield.
