Nova intentionally misinformed me about how my FSA contributions would carry over into the next year and refused to resolve the issue, leaving me short almost $500. Don't use a company FSA through Nova or any of their other services.
Nova has really been great to work with when it comes to claims. Their app and website are easy to use and navigate. I've only had great experiences when calling, too. For example, today I spoke with Sara about a payment I recently made that was for a service in 2021, but it was applied to the current 2022 plan year in my account. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and eager to help me; she really was fantastic all-around. I have called THREE TIMES in TWO WEEKS to get a letter stating I no longer have insurance with them so we can get insurance through my company. Each time I’m told they will get it to me in 5-7 days…still nothing. Awful customer service 😡
I agree with some other reviews that Nova could be more advanced in their tech and platform. Although I've had very good interactions with their support team - including today when Debra was able to answer a number of different questions and provide explanations in under 15 minutes. She was helpful, knowledgeable, and kind regarding my concerns. The few times I've called before, I also have been able to speak with someone without much of a wait who could either provide answers or submit an inquiry on my behalf.
I only have a flexible spending account with this company. I work for the NFTA in Buffalo, New York. If I could possible give this company a 0 rating I would. This is my first year setting up a flexible spending account and MY last!! I have mailed in my claims to be reimbursed (out of my own funds) from the account each quarter... so far. The first and second quarter claims were denied, to which I had to get( EOB-estimates of benefits) from the actual hospital/etc along with the healthcare plan I am enrolled in.( I did send ... read more
