To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. I've nearly come into this chain so many times. finall I did use NBC cuz I needed 3 dozen cupcakes for a 50th birthday, and I was travelling the week prior and could only do online research/ordering. the NBC website was very clear, informative, and clearly listed pricing and pics, whereas many nearby boutique bakeries I was considering didn't list pricing. My wife ordered a cake from here for our gender reveal party. She wanted a cake with a rattle inside so people will know the gender. She made the order online and went with the 10 inch cake with red velvet. We set the pickup time for a Saturday at 2pm and that wasn't the best idea. Also keep in mind that they charge a online service fee when you put your order online. If you add anything to the cake like a rattle or message then it's an additional charge as well.
