The ladies here are always very sweet and the cakes are delicious!
I had a cake delivered as a retirement gift. My friend called to thank me for the cake and said there wasn't a card that said who it was from but she found the receipt in the bag that had my name on it. I purchased the cake online and added my friend as a recipient so it was clearly a gift. Maybe it was an oversight and I understand mistakes happen but if not I would like to suggest a change in policy. A recipient of a gift should never see the expense of it.
Ordered a cake for a birthday party and had it delivered. The cake was left outside on the ground with no call no knock on the door or ringing of the doorbell. The cake was covered in ants and when called thinking they would provide another cake they said no not our fault
The cakes are dandy, but the staff has a bizarre policy of requiring customers to provide a phone number--even when placing a simple counter order to take with them. I gave mine once, and since then, I've been inundated with spam calls and texts. Without a loyalty program or clear reason for collecting this information, it's hard not to suspect that selling customer data may be part of their business model.
