Had lunch there today. Ordered the Spaghetti Squash Mushroom Bolognese. . Watery tomato soup with chunky vegetables and a damp, over-cooked lump of Spaghetti Squash plopped on top. It was more like a Weak Minestrone soup than a rich Bolognese. I didn’t complain as I was with a group and didn’t want to make a fuss. It was inedible and $17.00 for a bowl of soup is way overpriced. Nobody else raved about their meals, either. Very disappointed. The Focaccia and oil saved me. It was all I ate.
The bread and dipping oil is usually one of my favorite things about NYAJ but this is what happened when I was there recently - and we were sitting INSIDE the restaurant.
Although it was very busy, service was great!

I ordered the Haddock with Rizorto and broccoli and it was delicious!! The broccoli could have been cooked longer because they were too hard for me. I also had the Lettuce Wraps and they were outstanding! My drink was a Lime Ricky which was also very satisfying!
wife and i walked in on Sunday around 2:30 pm 6-10-18 walked in to a warm welcome and smile that,s very rare service was great Marina gave us super service and a a smile that very rare i had the Haddock with roasted carrots and roasted Brussel sprouts and wife had the Meat loaf with carrots and mashed spuds the meal came out with in 15 min food was very well done and yummy we will be back and will recommend this place to friends prices are a bit pricey .. other then that great atmosphere was nice cozy place but only con is W... read more
Love going here and sitting on n the bar! Luke our waiter was fabulous! Chef Dan made sure my meal was perfect. Such a great staff and food! Ty
The food was great but what made it a spectacular was the service. Our waiter Anthony could not have been more pleasant or accommodating! Bravo!
We pulled in here on chance hoping it wasn’t going to be bad diner food. Everything was absolutely delicious! Heavy on flavors, perfectly cooked and our server (Luke) was just great. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area.
