I came here for chest pain blacking out and irregular heart rate. Long story short I had to beg the doctor to admit me even after blacking out and hitting my head on the ct table in the er. Then read in my notes I was just having psych issues and was treated accordingly after being transferred to audobon. I went to jewish after audbon and was there for 4 days and had a ep doctor say I know exactly what's wrong with you. I brought my daughter to the ER due to symptoms consistent with an ear infection. While the majority of the staff were kind, respectful, and helpful, our interaction with Dr. McClain left me feeling deeply upset and judged. Although Dr. McClain did examine my daughter and prescribe the appropriate medication, the way he questioned me about the timing of her visit was troubling.
