my wife was there from July 19 till August 2 and 2 of the nursing staff where very rude and when they came in to do things would make her cry she was in there because she was dying from cancer and waiting to be moved to hospice unit and still having trouble getting paper work from you incompetent people and been a month

I highly do not recommend, I also waited 4 hours to be seen and didn’t get help. Then I was told you will have a wait wherever you go which is understandable and fully understand I’m not the only sick patient here but when you are having trouble breathing you wouldn’t think I would have to wait so long to be seen 🤦🏾♀️ such a shame a nice huge hospital and didn’t even get registered til like 2 hours later!

Today is my first experience with Norton. I was a nurse for years before my rare disease. I worked for the hospitals from age 20 to 35. My husband is also a nurse. I am limited on where I can go due to Louisville being one of the few GI motility specialist. I'm in the hospital monthly almost & I know my issues very well. Today I will definitely tell everyone I know do not go to Norton. My 10:00am surgery didn't start until 2:45pm. Then I have about a 7/8 inch incision on my stomach. My sister was in ICU and was left in chair, not cleaned for days, nurses did not communicate with family. Then my sister was not able to have visitors but no communication with family- one day visits and next day no visits!!! Go across the street to U of L hospital. Do not put a loved one here! I have never had to beg for sister to get basic care.
