I was charged for 30 minutes of time for Dr. Vanessa Rose, an MD who I never saw, and whose name never appears on my After Visit summary. I went in with an earache. They told me to have my ears irrigated, which I’ve had done before at a doctors office, so I agreed. The tech that walked in filled the bottle with tap water. I asked him shouldn’t they be using distilled or sterile water and he said no, it works just fine with tap. When the doctor examined my ears later she said I had lacerations and swelling in my ear canal. The staff at this place especially the front desk staff are absolutely horrible. They have no regard for patient privacy, loudly saying your personal health information out loud for everyone nearby to hear. It’s incredibly embarrassing and made me feel completely humiliated. They treat patients rudely, with no empathy or compassion. The bald man at the front desk was especially obnoxious he was loud, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, announcing patient details with no concern for privacy. I was so impressed by the fantastic level of care I got from everyone the minute I walked in the door. Especially not being from the area. The facility is very nice and clean. The gentleman who checked me in was very kind and efficient. I loved being able to make my last minute appointment on a Saturday and was able to get in right away.
