I started working for a company that is affiliated with Northwestern Benefits. I was offered insurance, so I took a LOOK at the benefits offered to see if they were cheaper than my marketplace options. I looked at a plan, but never selected "Complete Enrollment". When I looked at my check, the amount was deducted for the insurance. When I called them to inquire what would be done about it, I was referred to my store. I would not advise anyone to use this broker for their Health Insurance management. It is such a mess. These past 8 months have been a headache with enrollments, invoice billing, and credits. Someone needs to re-evaluate their organizational structure at Northwestern. It's like their departments do not communicate with each other. Not one person takes responsibility for the actions taken for account management. Our benefits consultant has been an expert at telling us that the mistakes made on the account are not their fault.... read more
