My sons 2003 F150 5.4L blew a head gasket. Sent the heads to Northwest Machine for a pressure test, resurface and valve seal replacement. I turned the heads in on a Thursday at 4pm, they close at 6. I got the heads back completely finished on Monday. The heads looked brand new!. Put my son’s truck back together and it runs like a top! Very happy with the work and the price was way better than I expected. I will definitely be using them again!

I've taken things to Justin for many years. I dropped off two VW heads to be "rebuilt" when I installed them on my motor it smoked. I found out that the guys didn't check the valve guide clearance they just cleaned the heads and ground the valves, and send them out that way. I would have paid what they asked to do them right. I'm going to now pull the motor and do a top end again. This is crazy and silly! I called 4 times to ask them to let me know what they did exactly, they never seemed to care or return my call. I'm bumm... read more

10/10 -- Perfect Absolutely recommend this shop for machine work. State of the art tooling, great staff, and a certain 'good vibe' to the place. Justin was the main person who assisted me but several other kind people helped. I rarely if ever give perfect ten out of ten June 2022: It took a long time, but that was expected as Justin made it clear from the start. They rebuilt my 98 Honda B16A2 The total cost of rebuilding it was ~$5,000 This shop was $2,500 in labor but considering all the fine tuning work I am happy with t... read more

I had an excellent experience getting some cylinder head work done at Northwest motor machine. They did a resurface of the cylinder head and re-ground the valves and valve seats. The price was very fair and I am very impressed with the quality and the cleanliness of the work that was done. I will definitely return if I need any work done in the future. Great experience!

Carlos and his team were excellent to work with. I am a DIY mechanic fixing my own issue. I called many shops asking for head work and was talked down to and/or not even called back. I even asked a couple of mechanics for referrals. I was surprise at how hard it was to find a machine shop that wanted my business. However, Carlos was happy to help, was up front, explained their service well, and most of all was happy to have a new customer of any skill level. I understand working with shadetree mechanics and diyer's can be ... read more
