I contacted this facility through their website. The first red flag came from the submission confirmation reassuring me my message had been “recieved.” After waiting over two weeks to hear back from them, today I called and got a frustrated answering services person saying their office is closed, despite the website stating they close at 4:30 on Thursdays. Too many red flags for me. I’ll take my business (and health!) elsewhere.
I had a robotic inguinal surgery with ProGrip mesh done by Dr. Watkins, Oct. 2025. I had done a lot of my own research and found that Dr. Watkins was able to effectively answer all of my questions. Might be a great place if you can make it past the rude receptionist. This woman did not want me to get an appointment. Offered zero help. I ended up going elsewhere.
i recently had hernia surgery performed by dr Drexel at good sam. i would heartily recommend her. she is personable, knowledgeable, and a good communicator. she spent time with me answering questions and i never felt rushed like she had somewhere better to be. she provided pictures of the hernia site which allowed me to better understand both the problem and what she did for the solution. i was lucky to have found her.
Dr Watkins is simply one of the best. I had been in pain for years and it was getting progressively worse at a rapid pace. I met him when I was at wits end, sobbing in tears and discomfort and he moved quickly to getting confirmation of what we suspected: my gallbladder was donezo. Surgery was expeditiously scheduled thereafter and I felt well supported the entire time both before, during and after surgery.
