Approximately three years ago we needed to talk to someone about selling coins and a few pieces of jewelry. After much, MUCH research, I chose Mark to examine my jewelry. Every positive review is 110% true. Honest, forthcoming and makes you feel right at home. Takes the time to explain his business with your best business in mind. He even put a battery in my watch to make sure it was mechanically sound and it had been taken off the selling block for sentimental reasons. That's top notch. Mark earned two loyal customers today. No question.

Great shop close in to renton/kent. Nice people with honest appraisals and quick service. Was also able to pick up a one of a kind ring that was a must have at a very reasonable price!

A fantastic experience selling our old jewelry at Northwest Gold and Diamond in Renton! The owner, Mark Jones, is very knowledgable and a master at his craft of designing custom statement pieces. Go see him for an estimate to sell your old stuff for top dollar or design something new....holidays are here!

What a waste of time! If you have diamonds, don't bother bringing them here. Took the bus for a quote on a 7 diamond necklace, and he only gave me a quote for the gold setting and chain. Stopped at a pawn shop on the way home, and they offered more than him. The guy spent less than a minute examining it, making excuses saying low quality, he actually suggested that I sell it on craigslist. When I told him of a previous quote, he mocked me. I went to Northwest Gold and Diamond in Renton from Tacoma to sell my gold and silver jewelry. I was surprised. I expected it to look & feel like a pawn shop but it was totally different. I felt safe there. Every question I asked was answered with an educated opinion. They made sure that I knew I was not obligated to sell to them and that I could shop around for the best price. Excellent experience selling gold and jewelry design! – I went to see Mark in the summer of 2011 to sell some gold after being referred by friends. The experience wasn't what I was expecting - it was better! The transaction was quick and fair.
