Update: Despite the initial administrative issues mentioned below, my overall experience with Dr. Ausk and the actual procedure was very good. I am increasing my rating because the medical care I received was excellent. I just hope the office staff can improve their organization and communication in the future so that the scheduling process matches the high quality of the medical team. For guest/drivers needing to do work remotely while they wait for your loved ones, GI Alliance patients (during their procedures)- Know that GI Alliance lobby seating is uncomfortable for any duration, and more importantly their WiFi is SLOW to none, essentially obsolete. Literally, can pickup a WiFi signal and if does, only a half a bar! In today’s day and age, this is unacceptable! We have to work to pay the medical bills. Come on.
Soon after my doctor’s appointment, someone called to schedule an endoscopy/colonoscopy and told me they would send the preparation instructions. I had to call them myself to request the preparation instructions because no one sent them or contacted me in the three days leading up to the procedure. This was especially concerning because you must follow a special diet for three days before the procedure and stop taking certain medications seven days in advance.
