I was having a reaction to a surgery I had at a different facility and this ER rushed me to the back immediately. Nurse Kristi was amazing, caring, and overall a wonderful nurse! The doctor went above and beyond to ensure i walked out feeling better than I walked in. Hopefully I don't need ER care again soon but if I do this hospital is where I will come.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went to er as per home health nurse seen know on my head very bruised. Dr. Nathaniel Hawkins was my Dr. With head injury I should been brought in back right away cat scan done too. Girl ca m e in after me hurt shoulder had cr scan right away. Also brought to back with nurses and Dr's. They should have taken head injury first. 6 hours in waiting room 4 hours to get ct scan. Never told if I had concussion or not. Well went to er breathing problems and they admitted me and my Dr Nick was awesome they are lucky to have a great Dr working in that hospital I give him 5 but the only complaint is the food looks and smells like alpo dog food it's really really awful barf so FL if you want a great Dr ask for Nick it will be there for you and his nurses are awesome too the ones that's on his shift Thank You!!!!!

My daughter called there several times and had to leave several messages about scheduling me a barium swallow test that UAB ordered, because when she asked for a direct line so she could keep trying to reach a person, she was told to just leave a message!. By the next day, still no phone call! I had cancer and this test was very important! I live 40 miles away, but the next day I drove to your hospital only to find out that you dont do that particular test!! On July 11, 2026 i came to the chipley hospital ER and was seen by Dr. Hawkins about new onset numbness to my left leg which was causing me not to be able to walk without assistance. I was seen and discharged within 15 minutes no scans, no exam, nothing all he did was prescribe me narcotics and told me I needed to lose weight and sent me home.
