My daughter was really sick and scared to go to the hospital but when we got there and in the back there was nurse Jay that took care of her she was so amazing she made my daughter feel very comfortable and happy she let her help her do everything that she was doing with my daughter she explained everything she did before she done it she talked to her like a family member not just a patient she made her feel very comfortable on all the test she had to do she was no longer scared. Usually this place is great, tonight I took my son in for a burn. I took him because he was in so much pain but the burn itself wasn’t that bad. Dr. Turner contacted the burn center in Lubbock when the burn center recommended we come to Lubbock not really knowing the severity of the burn. Dr. Turner said he himself wouldn’t want to take his kid either and told me that it was totally up to my son and I if I thought we should go. We leave the ER and Ashley.. Ashley Hughes maybe? The nurses and drs are amazing despite them being short handed treating everyone with respect and courtesy. Makes this the place I bring the whole family for our ER needs!
