This review is specifically regarding Dr. Richard Rand. In short - I would not recommend his breast augmentation services to anyone... in fact, I beg you to stay away! In our initial consultation, Dr. Rand was incredibly detailed and professional. He explained the risks, but ensured us that my breasts were very symmetrical and that they were a best case scenario for breast augmentation. Would never recommend this doctor to anyone! – I had facial surgery with this doctor. The staff and doctor were friendly enough at my initial consultation but after surgery the nurse was very eager to get me out the door. When I had complications a few months later I was told by the doctor that there was nothing he could do, that some patients have that outcome. I have never seen a Dr. with such a "God Complex" – I have looked after a friend who had surgery by Dr Rand and also have had surgery with him myself. Neither of us had a good result (face for her and breasts for me). When we said that we were unhappy with the aesthetic appearance and scars we were blown off and told it was our fault and there was nothing that could be done. But if we spent a lot more $ with him, he would "see what he could do" I/we do not recommend!
Best cosmetic surgeon – i have only known doctors from a professional view being an R.N. myself and the thought of surgery was exciting but scary, Dr. Rand changed my nervousness into confidence and returned my aging face to a more youthful appearance--very natural, no one even knew i had it done. My friends thought i had lost weight or had a great hair cut and the office / surgery experience was great, his staff is professional and they all are there when and if you need them. i wouldn't go anywhere else...
Best surgery results – My time spent on surgery was wonderful, from the second I sat down with Dr Rand I knew he was the one I wanted to do my surgeries ("mommy make-over" was what he said it was being called). His positive energy caught my attention and the details of all he told me were exact. I love my results(so do all my girlfriends that are scheduling with him next) and plan on continuing with more More MORE!
Not the doctor for me – Not happy with the result at all. Scars from surgery still show years later. Asymetric results. If you're having a procedure done on your face I don't recommend this doctor.
Kind / talented hands – I became a patient of Dr.Rands through a work related injury, needless to say I never thought as a man about plastic surgery.
