An Uber would have offered the same level of care I received. I was seen in the ED and diagnosed with a bowel obstruction. For pain I was given Dilaudid and because it's so potent every time I would fall asleep my O2 sats would drop to the low 80s prompting the nurse to use oxygen to help get my levels back up. As a former EMS worker I was flabbergasted that the EMT did not get one set of vitals from Lynnwood to Overlake in Bellevue, a 60 minute transport they told me. I was undisturbed the whole ride. The EMT took a risky c... read more

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They are a scam. Avoid at all costs. - Received a bill for $1,200. I sent them my EoB from my insurance proving that the bill had been paid in full by my insurance. I had even hit my out of pocket max for the year. - They continued to send me the bill. I continued to reach out every time I received the notice in the mail with no communication or solid answers to my questions as to why I was receiving this bill when my insurance had already paid in full. When I actually ... read more

While I was a patient at the Swedish Mill Creek Emergency Department (13020 Meridian Ave S, Everett, WA 98208), the attending physician determined that I required transfer to Swedish Edmonds for further evaluation. The two facilities are approximately a 15-minute drive apart. They charged $3,726 ($248 per min) . Although my insurance paid $3,092, I did not receive any billing for the remaining balance of $642.25 until nearly eighteen months later—and only then through a collection agency. This delay deprived me of any meanin... read more

Waited 2 hours for them to arrive to transport. Transport was only a 30 minute drive to another hospital. Only used their service because we were told that is who our insurance covered. Received a bill from them 14 mos later expecting us to pay. They failed to turn in the claim to our insurance company within the required time. Our insurance company says we are not required to pay them.

the service was fine. the billing wasnt - insurance paid their part, but they have never sent a bill to us, we did get it from debt collector (so the address was available, and before moving to debt collector they should have sent few letters, we could not have missed them all). I guess it their loss as they had to sell to debt collector for pennies instead of getting full amount.
