I had a deeply disappointing experience at Dr.Howard Pomeranz office located at 600 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, New Hyde Park. I brought my son, who has special needs and is autistic, for an urgent eye exam following a recent consultation with his neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon identified an issue with my son's left eye, which appears dark and causes him discomfort post neurosurgery . My opthamologist, Dr. Gorski, is patient and very, very thorough. My optometrist, Dr. Olivia Chu’s a great listener and knowledgeable aswell. I’m fortunate to have this duo taking care of my vision and would highly recommend.
Avoid Northwell Ophthalmology – Absolutely Unacceptable Wait Times I had an appointment scheduled for 1:45 PM and wasn’t seen until 3:45 PM. Waiting two full hours past my appointment time is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. There was no meaningful communication or apology from the staff about the delay.
