RecommendedWe tried NorthStar Tavern for the first time this afternoon and really enjoyed it! I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was one of the best I’ve had. Very moist and flavorful and you could tell it was quality meat. The sweet potato tots on the side were yummy (the ones my daughter didn’t steal from me 😉). The kids got wings and they were “amazing” in their words. Loud atmosphere but very appealing - farmhouse meets industrial look. The prices are decent too! We’ll be back.
I've been twice so far! It's a great place. The food is fabulous and meets the dietary needs of so many people. The wait staff is fabulous. The bar is great too. And the happy hour goes until 6:30. Its a super addition to Bloomington. The atmosphere is casual yet clean and nice. I like it alot!
Wonderful staff, great atmosphere and delicious food!! Had and loved the fried green beans, not enough restaraunts serve those!!!
Been here three times. Love some of the different menu items. Even though it’s been pretty busy every time we’ve gone food has come out in a timely manner. Wait staff is attentive. Really like the bar. Great beer selections. Decent wine options too. Very happy to have this in Bloomington!!!
Love this new place! Very friendly service: great menu - the wonton and cheese curd appetizers were amazing! Big selection of beers and cocktails. So happy to have this place in Bloomington!
Love the food, atmosphere, staff, location, local customers that are very kind, can’t wait to go back I’ve already been there four or five times now. The cauliflower appetizer and avocado wontons on the appetizer menu are straight delicious, getting hungry just thinking about them.
Very busy and working through the growing pains, but great food. A bit noisy for me, but nice decor and friendly staff. Glad to have a nice restaurant back in the area.
