First visit finally tonight. Several observations: Drinks: solid. Good pours and reasonably priced overall. Food: Cry Baby Cauliflower quite tasty. Brussel Sprouts very good. Burger? For $12 it should be WAY more than a dry, bland piece of meat on a bun. Quite overpriced for what you get. Other critiques: While the servers were great and attentive, they seemed eager to take our food away even though we weren't done. More than once we had to say "not done with that yet". Thoroughly enjoyed are food and the staff. We stopped in very late and got great service and food. We had a large group and the one guy waiting on us got everything correct and was quick. He was personable as well as efficient. We’ll definitely return.
I attended our daycare association Christmas party on Thursday December 14th. I had the chicken breast teriyaki sandwich which was really good. We were a large party but our two servers were attentive and very fun. Definitely would recommend for holiday party, shower, girls night out etc.
The Bloomington Family Child Care Association had our Holiday Party in the party room last night. Our servers Christopher and Anna were amazing. John was awesome to work with. Everyone very attentive to our needs. With 15 of us we had a variety of food and it was all delicious! If you love desserts, be sure to have their chocolate cake and ice cream it was fabulous and a great way to top off the evening!
I have only been here twice so far. Had a great experience both times with service and quality of the food. I will continue to go back and work my way down the menu. NorthStar was a much needed addition to the area.
Eat here, meet here, have a beer here! Great food, management and staff. Been several times and never disappointed! Support them. So needed in our neighborhood.
We have been there 4 times now at various times of day and have had great food and a great experience each time. Loved happy hour and were able to try 8 different apps. So delicious! And they aren't kidding with that cry baby cauliflower, have a drink handy!! I also love the option to make many of the entrees vegetarian! Keep up the good work!
Just had lunch at NorthStar Tavern. Great salad, cozy atmosphere, great service. Large glass of wine! I will definitely return.
