I am so thankful I found this place. Jennifer Barnes who I see is AMAZING!!! I was with another provider before this who gave me a diagnosis I wasn’t comfortable with and I didn’t feel heard when I tried to tell them I didn’t feel like that was right and I didn’t feel good on the medication they had me on. Dr. Andrew Williams is as good as it gets. I met Dr. Williams years ago when TMS treatment was new in this area. I’d completed the program and it had helped me so much I offered to talk to anyone who wanted to talk to a patient about the experience. Now, nine years later, I remain free of depression. I did do therapy once the TMS had my brain firing and it stuck. Within a year of completing the round of TMS I was done with therapy. This time it had stuck. My experience with NorthStar was nothing short of horrible. My Spravato treatments themselves were great and beneficial - and Kattie is lovely, which is the only reason I can give this review a single star. I am absolutely appalled and in disbelief at how NorthStar handled my case. First off, I was scheduled for my first appointment in January 2025. This clinic has been the most helpful than any other mental health provider I have been with. I love that they offer alternative therapies but my provider Dr. Jessica Bentura also didn't push the other therapies and worked with me on med management. She was patient and extremely responsive when I needed help with medication side effects. She is extremely knowledgeable but also let's you advocate for yourself as well. I have had a great experience at NorthStar. Between therapy and psychiatry they have changed my life for sure. Easy to get a hold of and great providers. Would recommend to anyone.
