My 26 year old son with cerebral palsy was renting an apartment in Norman owned by Northstar Properties. In May his roommate threatened to beat him up for talking to his girlfriend. My son informed the lady in the office of his situation and sent an email giving his 60 day notice to vacate his lease. After going to the office several times, he got nowhere. The management and maintenance at our kickingbird residence is terrible only doing bare minimum in order to make it liveable. So we have tried to contact North Star and they ignore all the messages left which has been 4! When our lease is up I can’t wait to get out of there. Don’t recommend anyone using them. I’ve live and rented if over 10 places in 3 states so I know they are shady and cheap and don’t care for their tenants
We are in our townhouse with NO hot water and no way to access the hot water heater because it’s a communal hot water heater that’s locked in the maintenance closet. This complex used to be SO much better than it is now. I’ve made this call before and someone came out in less than hour to turn it back on. They used to send out a community text when someone’s package got delivered to the wrong address.
