We were made aware of this scam earlier today. Apparently, the scammers are using a cloned number to make it look like a legitimate call from Avista, and will say there is a technician on the way to cut off power. Please know that Avista will never shut off power without contacting you first. If you have not had communication with them, don't buy it! If you receive one of these bogus calls, please report it to Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
Besides all the basketball happening this weekend with March Madness, your Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club is at home vs. the Portland Winterhawks in the first round of playoffs for the Western Hockey League. Games are Friday and Saturday evening at 7:05 pm. Tickets start at $11.
