Unprofessional, lost my wife’s orders. Don’t recommend.
I had an extremely disappointing experience here. The front desk receptionist was dismissive and unprofessional, setting a negative tone from the moment I arrived. In addition, the facility was not upfront about their radiology fees. I ultimately decided to cancel my appointment on the spot. Whether you're insured, uninsured, or underinsured, you deserve to be treated with respect and transparency, neither of which was offered during my visit. They can not "locate" 2 years' worth on mammogram records done at their facility. My name has always been the same as well. Go figure...
Update on Feb. 21, 2025: they are calling me to go in for more scans which is more radiation. I primarily got the scans to satisfy my PCP. I absolutely refuse further harm of radiation, though small but frequent exposures in a short time span, that could increase my chances of actually getting cancer. No one on either side of my family has breast cancer. I nursed both my children at least 12 months each, which studies show to decrease risks of developing breast cancer. My orders were lost. Twice. My initial appointment was cancelled without my knowledge via a system error. When I finally had an appointment, there was a long wait to go back and then the technician was rude. There are lots of options of places to go for mammograms in Atlanta. I won’t be making this particular choice again.
