I have lived in 12 states, and with 12 kids taken in from all over the world-with known medical issues, I have had the unfortunate opportunity be in over 12 hospitals all over the U.S. I have been at U.S. News # 1 hospital in the U.S. in Denver (horrible hospital-must have paid for that rating) and several “supposed” great hospitals. Including several in the Atlanta area. Piedmont Hospital did a great job for me, Emery is a nightmare. But the # 1 hospital by far in Atlanta is Northside Hospital. I had a very good experience during my surgery and recovery. My doctor and all the nurses took great care of me and made me feel comfortable and supported the entire time. Everyone was kind, respectful, patient, and very helpful. I especially appreciated that my doctor personally called me after I got home to check on how I was feeling and recovering. That meant a lot to me and made me feel truly cared for. I’m very thankful for the excellent care I received from the whole team at Northside Hospital
