North Shore Heights (NSH) is a prime example of “smoke and mirrors.” The property looks very nice and the staff is polished and polite upfront, promising you the world. Later on in your experience, especially on the evenings and weekends, you will discover that your loved one will be neglected to say the least. We found this out the hard way. Please don’t be fooled by the outside appearance of this facility. Management is garbage to staff. High turn over rate. All you are doing is waisting your money. Let them stay home and hire a private sitter. Way cheaper. Much better care.

Northshore has really declined in the care it provides it's residents. They are always short staffed, and turnover rate of staff is high. My mother is a 95 year old resident there, but we have given our 30 day notice to them, and will be moving her. Many days when we visit, she is sitting in the dark, still in her PJs, bed unmade. The food is mediocre to poor, and service is slow. It is very sad and maddening to witness her neglect. No one cares. 😒
