I have two daughters (ages 2 & 4) who love Dr. Shackleton. She is very calming and patient with small children who refuse to open their mouthes on the first 5 times I ask them to. She is somehow able to coax them into using the "scary toothbrush" that makes a lot of noise and they always leave with no tears, a small toothbrush, and a little toy that makes them very happy.

I've been to a lot of dentists in my life, lived in a lot of areas, and have had both good and bad experiences at the dentist's office. I'm happy to say that my experiences at Wedgewood Dental Center have been the best I've ever experienced. The doctor and staff all have their customer's comfort in mind with everything they do; yet the quality of the service is top notch. I have no difficulty in the least in recommending them to any and everyone.

This visit started right on time and was a pleasant experience (as always). Dr. Shackleton and the hygienists are all friendly and gentle as possible while being thorough, and they take time to explain things and address any dental questions/concerns that might arise. I chose this dentist's office a few years ago when I first moved to Seattle because it was convenient, but now I can't imagine going anywhere else!

My check up was done on time. all the staff were pleasant and professional. The hygienist was thorough and gentle. Overall an very good experience.

On my first ever visit, I felt well cared for every step of the way. Everyone I met was friendly and efficient. Everything was explained so I had no surprises or questions. The numbing gel is my new favorite invention. Everyone felt genuinely interested in my having a positive experience, which I most certainly did. Thank you for the best dental visit I have ever had.

I am a patient that has been afraid of dentist all of my life. After my old dentist moved away, I needed to find a place where they would truly understand my fears. When I saw a new dental office opening up, I thought I would try them out. I am so happy with them because they go out of their way to make sure that I am going well. That goes on if I am having my teeth cleaned or anything with needles. Everyone is great there and especially Dr Shackelton.

I love Dr. Shackelton's office and staff. As a dentist, she is calm, intelligent and practical in terms of determining and recommending the work that needs to be done. The staff are very competent and interested in educating the patient in terms of maintaining and improving your oral health. My kids also love the staff and office - no fear and no tears because of the calm, friendly and gentle treatment! Thank you!

During my first visit, I was not surprised that the news was not good: although it could have been worse, a bit of serious work is needed. Jerilynn and Dr. Shackleton were very gentle, calm, and comforting. They both were more than willing to explain fully and answer any questions.

We always get great care at Wedgwood Dental Center. All the staff are phenomenal. Little to no wait time. Quick, competent and thorough work. But the best indicator of all is that our 3-year-old daughter looks forward to her check ups. She had a rocky start over a year ago, but has since become a loyal fan. Every time we pass the office she exclaims: "Oh, Doctor Shackelton! That's my dentist!"
