We have been customers since 2007 and always enjoyed excellent service at Dr. Shackelton's. The hygienists communicate well about your dental healthy and it's always comfortable during the cleaning. Dr. Shackelton is friendly and professional. My kids ages 3 and 6 love going to the dentist, wearing the fun sunglasses and picking out toys. Highly recommend!

I used to be terrified of going to the dentist due to some horror stories from my youth going to a Medieval dentist. I found Dr. Shackelton by chance a number of years ago and now look forward to each visit -- I'd get my teeth cleaned four times a year if my insurance allowed it. From the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Shackleton, everyone is always professional and friendly and they always take the time to answer any questions I have. I recently had a wonderful visit to Wedgwood Dental Center. Both Dr Shackelton and the other woman who worked with me (whose name I am currently blanking on) were extremely helpful in answering my questions about my dental health. In addition, they gave me some tips and pointers and I feel now that I am more informed about good brushing and flossing technique - things that I was unaware I was not quite doing properly before.

I have been to this office twice. Both times, the service and treatment experience was friendly, very comprehensive and quick. I highly recommend this office. The simple suggestins for a differnt style of toothbrush to better fit my mouth have made a big difference in my oral health. I am so grateful for the simple and helpful tips.

A few years ago I moved into the neighborhood and stumbled across WDC's website when I was looking for a local dentist. After my first visit to the old office, I knew I had found the right dental office for me, and the new location has a fantastic design and atmosphere. There is such a high degree of professionalism, care for patients, and genuine interactions that I now travel over 30 miles to visit WDC. Thank you Dr. Shackelton and all of the folks at WDC (Amber!) for making my trips to the dental office truly enjoyable.

Dr. Shackelton has a great team of people working with her from the receptionist to her assistant to the check-out person. I had great apprehension about getting a "crown" done but Dr. Shackelton and her assistant explained everything to me and then worked together seamlessly to complete the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Shackelton and her team.
