I’d have to say just from being on the outside hearing about what takes place in this facility sickens me.. They have certain employees who work here that harass & bully patients.. You have to have the heart, and ability to work in these kinds of places. No one should have to ever seek help & get treated so poorly while in there. We truly care about our patients and have such hard working staff that break their backs everyday; especially during this uncertain time. To get a negative review like this is heartbreaking. I've worked in mental health for over 20 years. This facility (Northlake) is by far, and without any doubt, the worst facility I've ever been associated with. I'm embarrassed to admit that I worked there for about 6 months. the buildings are decrepit, some of the leadership and owners are some of the worst individuals I've run across in my lifetime. I visited the website looking for info. I found the number that says to call anytime to get more information. I called tonight and the lady that greeted me on the phone was super rude and short. I wanted to ask a few questions and she cut me off and said we don't take walk ins you just need to go to the ER. I redirected my question straight forward and asked her again if she could answer a few questions before I decided what was the best option. She very rudely barked NO back at me.
