My wife sustained an eye injury requiring specialized treatment while we were visiting Yellowstone and Dr. Welch’s practice in Cody was the closest Ophthalmologist (medical Dr. specializing in eye care). The office was not willing to take a new patient even when informed of the semi-urgent nature of the injury requiring care. Went for a cataract consultation They wanted $1600 out of pocket for a good surgery or not for a so so surgery. Got there at noon, finally walked out at 2 . Never actually got to see the surgeon. Felt like I was dealing with used car salesman. What a waste of time.
Great office and friendly staff.
