Acadia caused a complex trauma nervous breakdown resembling poisoning, and was harassing. I especially remember lying staff and dr Salisbury, who ordered a $15,000 genetic pointless test she can't read and who was communicating with my now deceased father, a decades known abuser. all throughout my childhood, my sister took her medications through Acadia and was EXTREMELY over medicated. they kept adding on more and more instead of waiting until the rest was out of her system, so she was angry and miserable all the time. my parents were afraid to leave her at home because she genuinely wasn’t capable to be by herself. it ruined all of us. i was scared of my own sister, and i remember the screaming matches she would have with my dad that ended in throwing things and sobbing. she was so depressed and un... read more

Ive been getting ect treatments for 6 years- I no longer do it- its seems like once your no longer their patient they don't care- wrote letters an called ect department for answers on my last treatment an got no response- they only care if your a patient there- i stopped because i didn't feel good after my last one an wanted answers an I was avoided- pretty sad I considered them family until I got done - every visit I had i was welcomed with so much kindness- I want answers to why they avoided my emails- this is not ok- espe... read more
They refused to make a reasonable accomodation for my disability and the counseling supervisor Jeanie is nasty! After speaking with other medical professionals they agreed with me what Acadia Hospitals Counseling program is doing is disgusting to force people out of therapy because they have been there to long. Absolutely gross.
