Before President Freeman came on board I was not all that impressed by NIU. Now that President Freeman is on board I am seeing drastic changes for the better. NIU really takes the time to support their students and the community around them. I am proud to be a Huskie and encourage anyone to come be a Huskie with us🐾❤️

Dekalb is not safe and roads suck. Environmental department needs a lot of work. Attending NIU was probably the worst 4 years of my life. Everything is out dated and expensive. I tried to transfer out but NIU credits don’t transfer anywhere. Highly recommend looking at other schools.
Shame on you for cancelling the IESA State Wrestling tournament. You have ruined the dreams of so many children who have worked so hard for the past year to obtain their dream.
I absolutely loved my NIU visit!!!! I can’t wait until I’m Husky next fall. 🐾🐾🐾
