Great school quiet local different type of people to meet
They don’t care about their students!! Appeals process is a joke. Professors are supposed to encourage their students not put them down!! Daughter worked her butt off, has high gpa had one semester left did something unprofessional and they drop her from program. DISGRACEFUL!!!
Absolutely love the people I've met here, and all my professors in the College of Business! Despite what people may hear about NIU at times, I never do not feel safe. I would recommend this school to anyone, breaks my heart knowing I only have one 1 year left!
Great school. My daughter is thriving academically However she is a cheerleader, the school and athletics do not support them in anyway! Very frustrating that they are treated so badly after winning 2nd & 3rd place at Nationals representing NIU! If you have an athlete wanting to cheer in college this is not the school for them!
