I first went to Dr. Velotta because I was facing eye surgery. She found the real cause that the other doctor missed. She is very good, very thorough, and very pleasant as a bonus.
Dr Velotta is 2nd to none. In my personal experience as a patient,and in the way she cared for my elderly mother as her patient. Dr Velotta is patient, kind and caring. She correctly and smartly diagnosed a condition my mother had experienced that other doctors had overlooked. I am also impressed by the way Dr Velotta’s entire staff mirrors her compassion and excellence.
Never got to even take my mom in for her consultation appointment. They canceled it the day of, 3 hours beforehand. Simply because they told us since she didn't have insurance the Doctor wouldn't see her since if she got surgery she'd have to pay for it. This would have been nice to know when I booked the appointment A MONTH AGO. I could've taken hey somewhere else. I understand they need to make money but this is ridiculous.
