My family and l love the Northern Cafe by USC so we came in ready to eat good. Our favorite thing to order is the orange chicken and it was our biggest let down. The garlic broccoli had no flavor and was so watery. Not good at all. Also the service was so bad. The waiter sat in the back with his earbuds in and using his phone, not giving attention to any of his customers. I tried to call him to get some help a couple of times but he couldn’t hear me. It should be a 3.5 star for me. Ordered 2 things: - Golden beef soup with knife cut noodle: 4⭐️ knife cut noodle was perfect. It was cut manually so each strain of noodle is different in size and texture. This makes the whole experience so fun, you don’t know what you’re gonna get. The broth and veggie is just a solid 4⭐️. Fried rice was delicious. The rest of the items were pretty average. Service was fast even though it was very crowded in there. The soup dumplings were good but I think Din Tai is better.
