Very unhappy with the lack of services my significant other has been receiving from Northern Addiction. This person has been on the wait list since August for residential treatment and they gave an intake date of mid October. No one has contacted this person even though the intake lady said she would make a call back but failed to do so. Extremely unhappy because someone’s life is depending on this treatment program and they don’t seem to be wanting to help. Very unfortunate
The detox is A Joke!! Got accused 2x's for something that I supposedly Did, detox counselor told me I don't belong there. Some are Very Judgemental to the Point where they call clients LIAR'S..People like that Should Not be Allowed to work there. They dope people up with other meds disorienting them. I was stumbling to the point where I was bumping into everything. I give this place 5 out of 5, I was 25 when Went to NAC. Best decision of my life. Won’t lie, I’m still in active addiction but I wasn’t ready for it at the time because I had many addictions to overcome. Today I still recommend everyone to this place, 2 of my friends went there and my sister Tiffany was an addiction counseller there (said blest place to be) and they (addicrs) are still sober. My experience with this place, was absolutely phenomenal. From the staff, people, and everything In between, was amazing. I've never felt as welcomed, or that my problems were actually heard before other than here. Go here for what you need to heal from, be a good person with respect, and you are bound for success
