good task When Doug installed our furnace and hot water heater 12 years ago, Yelp did not exist. We could only extend our thanks to him and refer others. After 12 years of flawless equipment performance (during which time we never had reason to call), we had Doug and son Paul over for a furnace maintenance check, minor repair and duct work sealing. very nice Doug and crew installed a new furnace in my home a couple months ago. They only sold me what I needed, the price was reasonable, and they had the new unit in-and-running the day after I called for the estimate. They also threw in a new programmable thermostat and cleaned up some sloppy gas plumbing (that had been done previously by someone else) at no extra charge. The whole crew was very friendly, professional, and had the job done quick.
good Only one word describes the service of Nothend Home Heating, FANTASTIC! Doug installed a furnace at our home 7 years ago. We have never had a problem, until, 1/14/12. The furnace was not turning on and it was very cold, (the first snow of 2012 in Seattle). I called Doug and he immediately set up an appointment for that day! Remodel I am in the midst of a remodel and was in need of a new furnace and duct work. I had 4 heating contractors come in and Northend was one of them. After meeting with Doug and going over my ideas, I felt very comfortable with him and was impressed with his knowledge and the estimate was very fair. Thank you! Doug installed this furnace a year and a half ago. I waited to see how things would work out before writing a review. The installation was flawless. Excellent metal workmanship with the installation. Doug is a craftsman with metalwork and ducting. The gas furnace he installed was an American Standard and it has served us extremely well. We had one problem and Doug took care of it immediately. Very careing and responsive service! I would definitely use him again.
great job Doug, came out early which was great! He arrived and got right to the job without being overly chatty or taking a long time to get to the issue. He gave me some good tips and remained professional throughout the service. Overall, I was happy with: 1.) Quick service 2.) Great work 3.) Fair priced work.
great job Had to call Doug to check out my heating system which is an older system. Doug came within the hour and assessed the problem and educated me on how heating systems need to work. Not pushy on having me upgrade my system. Loved that. I will definitely be calling back for further service. An like others said, do yourself a favor and call!
nice Doug and his crew know their stuff as they replaced our electric forced air furnace with a gas furnace, added some ducts & vents, and installed gas pipe for other appliances including for a gas fireplace. They thought through the best ways to overcome some difficulties and came up with solutions that not only solved the issues but were as visually discreet as possible. They thoroughly tested the furnace and all gas line joints.
nice Northend Home Heating saved us thousands over what we would have paid otherwise and sold us only what we needed. If you feel like you are being sold a used car and not a furnace, give Doug a call. Doug's approach is practical and was very helpful in clearing the muddy waters of purchasing a replacement furnace. Northend completed the job quickly and cleanly!
