Ive got a relative in the facility now. Common sense, dont question a patient about their care when they are on the painkiller fentanyl, and others. My relative was so out of her mind on the painkillers, and still staff questioned her asking her about everything. Its very unethical to dose a patient with powerful painkillers, then ask them to sign a document or approve treatment. It is way past medical ethics to treat a patient like that.
I have had surgeries and treatments in hospital in some very big cities, including Philadelphia, San Francisco and Anchorage, Alaska. Yesterday I had outpatient surgery at Northeast Regional Medical Center. I have to say I have never felt more comfortable or more cared for by staff by far than I have felt here, from tests I had done to pre-op assessment and on through the surgery. Thank you, Dr. Zeman and all the staff who so amazingly supported you in repairing my umbilical hernia! Even having been a nurse for many years in... read more
I had a total knee replacement done on Tuesday and hope to get to go home today. The nursing staff has been wonderful to me, even when I have been challenging, LOL. Cannot say enough about my physical therapy guy, Brett Kirby. I would throw out nurses names but know I would forget someone. I do know that I kept life interesting for my nurse yesterday, Bailey, between infiltrating an IV, accidentally "self-removal" if my drain tube, etc. LOL.
Other than my arrival were I was freezing and they wouldn't allow me a blanket I would say I was 100%pleased. Everyone was so pleasant... kind and accommodating. The process to get me checked in was quick and to controlling my pain to explaining everything to me. X ray lab was wonderful and speeding and the surgical team arrived quickly and got me right in. I was moved to recovery where I was treated wonderfully then off to my room where every nurse took very good care of me. I appreciate the excellent care I received. Thank... read more

It was the worse experience in an emergency room I have ever experienced.... so bad I will not go back and I will not recommend to anyone... ever.
On april 26th i brought my mother to the emergency room. I went in and got a nurse amd a wheel chair amd by the time i parked the car they had an ekg run and were running a second one, were giving her nitro, and had a cardiologist Dr. Shima, on his way up. My mother had a complete blocckage of her coronary artery and needed a stint. After surgery she developed a major bleed. Dr. Shima and the staff in the er that day worked quickly to get my mother stabilized for transfer. I will be forever grateful to the entire staff of th... read more
