Doctor Swartzbaugh took the time to explain my condition with me in superb detail as well as my treatment options. Doctor Swartzbaugh is one of the most caring doctors I have had the pleasure of having. Very nice medical assistants as well.
I'm extremely happy with the care I received from Dr Swartzbaugh. I had her do a decompression procedure on a disc in my neck 3 months ago. Now I'm doing great. Good as new.
I have had a Laminectomy in 2015 and most recently a micro discectomy and synovial cyst removed by Dr Swartzbaugh. She is by far the best MD I have ever had. She is brilliant, very skilled, takes the time necessary to review findings with her patients and what the outcome would be. She is not arrogant and does not try to push you into doing anything. Excellent follow up and great staff. I would highly recommend her.
Referred by my PCP for sudden onset of leg pain. I had burning pain in my leg, and my neurological exam was abnormal. She reviewed my MRI and did not think surgery was indicated. I was told that no appointment would be scheduled. She never examined me despite my PCP referral and symptoms. I then went to Maine Spine Surgery, and they were wonderful. AMAZING! How many doctors will accept a new surgery on the day before vacation, late afternoon? Dr. SWARTZBAUGH that's who. I was in ER in need of immediate pain relief, I couldn't stand it a moment more. It had been about 10 days (1st ER visit I was sent home with Pain meds - which I told them I would not take- and Pred, which did NOTHING) This was ER visit #2 and I physically could not handle another day of the excruciating pain. Dr. Swartzbaugh fixed me! (ran out of review space!)
