Be very aware of their fraudulent charges at this practice! They have charged me for a full on Endoscopy procedure at my first visit/initial consult, which was about 5-7 minutes in the room with the doctor. I’ve filed a dispute with my insurance and Northeast Atlanta ENT and after asking to speak to “Dr.” Carmichael directly there has been no return call and I just received a letter from a collection agency. honestly, a waste of money and time I did not have. I drove 45 minutes for this appointment as a new patient just to sit in the waiting room for 20 minutes and spend a total of three minutes with the doctor. He barely looked in my nose and told me I have a paradoxical deviated septum.. I shared with him how I get nose bleeds and cannot function without nose spray and that I have tried nasal strips and a Netty pot and I’m tired of getting nosebleeds and I cannot breathe and it is affecting my quality of life and he prescribed... read more
Dr. Carmichael is a no nonsense, no frills kind of guy. I went to see him after going to countless doctors - the ER, two PCPs, an eye doctor and even a dentist - and he helped me literally immediately. I explained my symptoms, told him what I suspected was going on, he listened intently, quickly confirmed my diagnosis and gave me an immediate, effective treatment plan. Dr Carmichael was amazing and had excellent bedside manner. I got in and out in less than 10 minutes and felt like they explained everything that was going on with me and answered all of my questions. Tamara.
