Do not go here. I went here for a blockage in my ear. The PA (Alan Reid) documented that he irrigated my ear - he did no such thing. He looked in it for 2 seconds with an otoscope and sent me on my way. Documenting a procedure you did not do is fraud!!! Thankfully for me, I went to an ENT to get my issue resolved and it was obviously not life threatening. I’m a VA patient and went to urgent care for bursitis in my knee. I was given Naproxen and sent home, but my condition only got worse. When I called to ask if they could drain my knee and prescribe antibiotics, I was told, “they don’t know if they can.” I eventually went to the ER, where I was told it should have been drained a long time ago. It was infected, and I had developed blood clots. This could have turned out very badly — the lack of proper care and follow-up was unacceptable.
Did not have to wait. Staff including nurse and doctor were great. Very efficient and I felt very confident in their diagnosis.
Walked in at 7:30pm just to have my eye checked because I was having a a problem. There was not one person in the waiting room. It probably would have taken someone 5 minutes to check my eye. The front desk said oh they were full in the back and I could go down the street to AFC Urgent Care…I guess Atrium didn’t want my money. I never asked her where another urgent care was…she volunteered that information. This is what healthcare is about today…making sure the office staff gets off work on time!!
