They charged an extra $10 without a sign saying about choosing a polish from the wall. Lousy foot callus removal very rough and fast.
Northbrook nails is a great place to go if you want to get ROBBED! I just paid $40 for a REGULAR pedicure. Not no chip not a mani and a pedi Nope just a regular Essie nail not even opi pedicure for $40 freaking dollars plus tip. This will be the last time I visit there which is unfortunate considering how close it is to me. Convenient yes but stupid expensive. Not worth it AT ALL
I went in for a French tip and bow on my nails and everything turned out wrong. Firstly the lady cut me and made me bleed. Secondly, my French tips and wonky and uneven, and has brush strips all along the white... if she couldn’t do them properly I wouldn’t have asked. Thirdly, the bow… was unable to draw a simple bow and then made me get a press on sticker of a flower which the glue bubbled up on my nails. Very disappointing, especially for my daughter’s first nail salon visit. I asked for acrylics on arrival, but they pretended I only wanted regular polish once they got busy. They gave my daughter the wrong color, and when she cried, no one even asked what was wrong. We paid $129 before tip for two pedicures, manicures, and eyebrow waxing—only to be treated like a burden. Our nails started chipping and smudging within hours. Two stars only for the one kind lady, though she didn’t seem confident in her work. Not worth it.
Fantastic gals, friendly, professional, attention to detail,great selection of products, good for waxing and now facials! Very clean and sterilized equipment.
