RecommendedWe were babysitting my daughters cat AND we were on vacation when I noticed him having trouble urinating. I looked for an Emergency vet and on my search N. Windham Animal hospital popped up. I called and was met with the sweetest most understanding young lady on the phone. She said come right in! We were there within an hour. They took "Steven" right in. Everyone was wonderful. Compassionate, caring and very gentle. Steven is a shy fella. They took wonderful care of him. Took my shitzu there for a year straight for ear infection and still today has ear infection and they pretty much told me go somewhere else cause they can’t figure it out .. sorry it has been over a year but had to speak out is not about the money and now nobody want to groom him because of infection I don’t think it was right for them to keep taking my money for a year and then Send us packing .. Deff do not recommend they need better more knowledgeable vets .. will contact legal advice it has been bothering me for a year .... read more
We went to NWAH because we took on a friend's older dog who was already going there. Sasha was always so well cared for, and the office staff has always been so friendly and caring. When it came time to say goodbye to Sasha, we were given the utmost respect and care. The doctor sent us a lovely condolence card, and the cremation service even did a paw imprint for us, which was a lovely, unexpected gift! It really felt like they were treating us as family, and I've been so happy with their service.
There isn’t a team of more caring, knowledgeable,patient and sympathetic staff anywhere. Our Macey and Shane has the best of the best Carr and compassion. Thank you!!❤️
I took my Mini Schnauzer here for her first puppy check. I loved the atmosphere and everyone was very nice. I feel comfortable taking my dog there she's in good hands

Denied my dog a life saving surgery 10 minutes before he was supposed to be there to have it because my husband was questioning the bill...secretary stated that owner made comments that they are just in it for the money....so if asking questions about the bill is offensive and perceived this way and they won't help my dog who the hell would want to go there! Plus they sent our records to another vet without our permission!!! Dr Shemer and staff you are not worthy of our business or anyone else we know!
