Dr Heffernan and his staff are professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and kept me informed about everything. Thank you all for helping me through my cancer. After 5 years I was released. I hope to never need you professionally, but I will definitely recommend you to any friends or family that need your specialty.
Dr. Abel Moron is my doctor. Met him at Medical City Arlington while I was there 22 days with them trying to figure out what exactly was wrong. First admitted with blood clots, so that made testing, etc. a little difficult. Diagnosed with Stage 3B ovarian cancer. Have had three chemo rounds so far any things are going well. The staff there is awesome and I admire all the women I have met dealing with their cancers. Very uplifting and have been told I am being treated by the best in the DFW area!!
The nurses are very nice and caring. I’m glad I’m here.
Yesterday I visited Dr. Heffernan for what he told me was my last "needed" visit to his office. It has been 5 years since my diagnosis and I am now considered cured!!! I could not have made it through without Dr. Heffernan and his staff. His aggressive treatment regimen saved my life. It was tough but to come out on the other side healthy is truly a blessing. First chemo yesterday. I was nervous at first, but the kind and very capable, knowledgeable staff quickly put my mind at ease. Everything went well. Each time a new med was added, it was explained to me and any questions I had were answered. I also had one of my greatest fears- vomiting- eased after speaking with the nurses throughout the day. They assured me that if I eat (never been a problem for me!), drink water (not a problem) and keep my nausea meds nearby, I shouldn't vomit and if I do, to call them! Praise the Lord! ... read more
I can't possibly say proper kudos to Dr. Munoz and his staff in a Facebook review, but I'll try. When I was first diagnosed with cervical cancer I was terrified. It was a sudden shock and treatment began very quickly. Dr. Munoz not only put my mind at ease, but the minds of my husband and mother who attended every appointment with me. The skills, the details, the comfort and reality check when I need it was above and beyond.
