Mostly very good. The evening nurses did not keep up my sisters pain medication and she woke in the middle of the night with extreme pain after knee surgery. She said on a scale of 1-10 her pain was a 16! It took the daytime nurses to get her back to a 4-5. It really scared my sister and the pain made her nauseous so she was unable to eat breakfast and could only have soup for lunch. Other than that, people have been nice and professional.

I want to give huge props to the Salem Hospital Emergency room last night (or NSMC) on the children's side. I went in with my young son just before 10pm and we were done within the hour. They did everything they could to make him (and me) comfortable. From blowing bubbles to keep him distracted, to giving him Popsicles and at the very end a TMNT mask to take home. my Husband was a patent out patient there and he is dead due to service provided @ this facility I would advise any one to go else where. he was a healthy happy and good husband and father and co-worker, and the Services rendered @NSMC were horrific , go to Beverly go out of state go to lahey never go here ,
