Dr Gilmour missed a large melanoma on my back. She gave a short visual inspection of my skin when doing my skin check. 4 months later my GP accidentally noticed a large suspicious mark and sent it for biopsy. I have now had a large piece of skin removed approx 1inch diameter and need a larger piece removed as they still don't have the margins. Over an hour wait and not even an acknowledgement. Because of this lateness (which, based on other reviews, is clearly the rule, not the exception), I only had time to cover one issue before literally rushing out. Had to pay $20 for parking when it would've been free, and my entire afternoon was messed up. Super rude and disrespectful of patients' time.
Had a terrible experience with Dr Bannister he was very patronising and rude and did not help me at all with what i came in for. I've seen countless of medical specialists for many years regarding my skin condition and I've never had such a poor experience. I never leave reviews but this was honestly so disappointing.
My daughter recently had an appointment with Dr Bannister, and unfortunately it was the most upsetting medical experiences she’s encountered. She left the consultation feeling dismissed, patronised, and emotionally worse than when she arrived. My daughter has dealt with this condition all her life and has seen numerous dermatologists, specialists, and hospital professionals throughout her life.
