RecommendedI moved to Pelham several years ago, anxious about what vet to use for my 2 older fur babies. I tried several, but once I went to North Shelby County Animal Hospital, I stopped looking. All the doctors & staff are awesome! They are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, etc. They are like family—they helped us make it through the loss of 4 older pets. And now we have our 2 rescues as patients there—wouldn’t take them anywhere else. They are worth the drive!!

Wish I could rate them higher! Drs. Hicks and Jordan are amazing. They take such great care of my Lily Annabelle and have given me a chance to spend more time with my baby, when I didn't think it would be possible. The staff are so kind and caring, and treat my girl like the princess she is. I highly recommend NSCAH for care, boarding and grooming.
If I could rate this place a 10, I would! We are not patients but had to bring our lab, Annabelle, in last minute because she got a Nylabone stuck in her mouth. They took WONDERFUL care of our Bells and were so helpful and sweet. They ended up having to sedate her to saw the bone out but Dr. Jordan and her staff were nothing short of amazing! We were super nervous about going to any vet other than our own and had to find somewhere close and last minute that would take her and help us out. They did not hesitate to do that and... read more
