Been living here for 13 years. A good building in a bad neighborhood. Management does there best to keep the building as safe and clean as possible, but it's Aurora, there is no avoiding the urban grime entirely. Rent's are slightly below market, however, this building was designed before the "efficiency" boom you see in new buildings today. This means real 600+ sf studios/1BR not 150/300 sf micro units; I think your rent money goes a lot further here. Overall, this is a good location to live. The new building manager, Vivy, is very kind and helpful. She responds quickly to questions/issues and always solved whatever my problem was. The building maintenance manager Noel is TOP-NOTCH! Any maintenance issues I submitted were resolved in 1 week max, usually sooner. Noel was always friendly and very helpful. I lived at north park villa apartments for about three years. I initially loved the location and the apartments seemed okay. The longer I lived there the worse it got. The neighborhood has gotten very colorful and I didn't feel safe walking around the area. There are many RVs that park on the street and there are so many drug users on the street.
