I came here because I had found my brother dead, and it was bad. Not only did I not get any help at all. It seems they did not care at all how upset I was. It felt like they were laughing at my pain and suffering more than anything else. We need anew second hospital here in Tupelo because the level of care here is worse than zero.

This has been the most frustrating hospital experience I have ever had. I understand that many people come here out of necessity, but the level of unprofessionalism we encountered is unacceptable. Go to a different hospital at all costs. My husband called multiple times to ask a simple question regarding his surgery aftercare. Three separate times, the call was disconnected. I was admitted to NMMC 8/2/25 for possible stroke the doctors & nurses that I dealt with were the best that I have ever dealt with, even when I was a little agitated they ALL keep a smile on their faces and told me things would be okay… i was LUCKY and i didn’t have a stroke but in the future if I were to have a stroke I would want to come back to North Mississippi Medical Center
