dont allow them to use my chart with you. First off it's unprofessional, secondly you become an electronic document, not a patient. Metaphorically, it's easy to abuse a homework assignment- on the other hand you cannot tell someone you will call them in a week, and not expect 100% of concerned individuals to at the point of not receiving a call, do ones job for them and follow up as a patient...... This place seems to be primarily about money. We just got a bill for $1047 for a regular preventive checkup! $565 out of it is JUST for office visit (they charged $350 for preventive care office visit + another $215 for SAME office visit!). No wonder our healthcare costs are high! Avoid if you can.
I have been with the North Memorial System for 30 years. It started out as a good patient care facility, concerned more for the patient than the dollars.... Unfortunately I am leaving their system as the opposite treatment has occurred. I am being told I have to come in for a prescription evaluation after a 4 month time lag from my last visit. My doctor at the time of the visit has retired and I must get a new doctor before they will approve the balance of my year of refills... Costing us another $250.00 office visit. Not ac... read more
